No Plow Prep Package Needed!
The 2020 Ford Super Duty trucks now come standard with plug and plow technology! Will the Welder checked them out at the 2020 Work Truck Show and got all the details to share with our readers.
The new plug and plow feature will be standard equipment on all Ford Super Duty trucks, including the F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 models. NOTE: You do not need the plow prep package to have this standard equipment! So if you decide to put a plow on one of these trucks, the wiring harness will already be there. No matter what size engine you have, all the super duty Ford trucks will have a plug behind the fender on the passenger side for fast and easy plow wiring hook up.

Ford Truck Plow Prep Package
Ford also announced earlier in 2020 a complete Snow Plow Prep Package for the F-Series Super Duty trucks. That package goes beyond the new standard plug and plow feature we’re announcing today. The new snow plow prep package also includes options for a pre-heated windshield/wiper de-icer to keep ice off wiper blades, a heated steering wheel, and heated front and rear seats. It also has an option for white or amber LED strobe lights on XL, XLT, or Lariat series trucks to make it quicker and easier to hit the roads plowing. There is a Deep Snow/Sand drive mode available on trucks with the 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShift® automatic transmission. This drive mode option gives drivers more control on snow and ice-covered roads.
