We had the opportunity to speak with Joe McIntyre from Trackless, who shared valuable insights into the company’s operations and offerings.

Trackless’s Multi-Purpose Tractor

Joe McIntyre proudly states, “Trackless – we’ve been in business since 1969. We’ve been manufacturing the municipal tractor for 55 years. It’s a multi-purpose tractor for snow removal, grass cutting, sweeping, asphalt maintenance, leaf pickup – pretty much anything that a municipality would do day-to-day. Its main purpose is to be utilized every day, 12 months out of the year.”

Cost Savings with Trackless

One Machine, Multiple Jobs

One of the most significant advantages of Trackless’s equipment is its cost-saving potential. McIntyre highlights, “It’s a huge cost savings because using our machine, you can save a lot of money by utilizing just the one machine and doing multiple jobs. With it, we offer over 30 attachments from snow removal with the snow blowers, the plows, rear salt/sand spreader, sweepers to sweep the light snow.”

Servicing Dealers

McIntyre also points out another crucial area of cost savings for municipalities: “A lot of municipalities are losing mechanics to the private sector, so that’s another cost savings. We can have our dealers work on the machines for them.”

Simplifying operations by using a single piece of equipment also reduces labor costs. McIntyre explains, “If you can narrow everything down to one piece of equipment instead of trying to find four or five operators that know different pieces, that’s a savings for them right there too.”

We make sure that the customer, when he orders parts, gets those parts. He doesn’t have to wait weeks or months at a time.
