MAJOR Temperature Changes on the Way

The variation in temperatures and forecasts across the U.S. for this weekend and into next week are incredible. You could say Mother Nature has a bit of a spit personality! This weekend kicks off with unseasonably warm temperatures across the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes and Southwest. We’re talking weather in the 80’s and no major cool downs at night. In fact, it’s dry and unseasonably warm across most of the Lower Midwest and South and it will stay that way in the South into next week.

So the BIG news is the cold, cold, cold Pacific Northwest temperatures and 3 FEET of snow expected in parts of Montana and portions of Idaho. We aren’t just talking about a little snow flurry – this is a crazy early season snowstorm that will be accompanied by record-breaking low temps and snow accumulation of 8-24 inches in many areas Friday through Monday. Windy conditions will blow the snow around as well. If you are one of the lucky snow contractors in this area, I’m guessing that you are already prepped and ready to rock and roll!

As that storm moves across the U.S. into the Upper Midwest and Northeast it turns to rain, but the cold persists in its path. We’ll see a cool down of temperatures all across the North, while temps in the South and Mid Atlantic area stay much warmer.

Will Winter 2019-2020 be Cold?
