The stainless-steel auger and modular polyethylene hopper body provide superior corrosion resistance, a vital feature for winter road maintenance applications. A flip-up stainless-steel chute is also integrated to handle high-humidity environments, maintaining optimal spreading performance without material bridging. With its inverted V-shape and vibrator mechanism, the spreader is designed to maintain a steady flow of material, preventing clogging or interruptions in performance.
Pre-Wet and De-Icing Capabilities
In addition to its solid material spreading capabilities, the IceStriker™ can function as a liquid de-icing unit, with integrated 370-gallon liquid tanks for pre-wetting materials. This reduces salt usage by moistening the salt before it hits the road surface, making it more effective and environmentally friendly. Operators can also opt for a spray bar or a hose reel with a 40-foot reach for hard-to-access areas, further expanding the machine’s versatility.

This technology allows operators to monitor spreaders in real-time, track routes, record material usage, and generate detailed reports on spreading activities.
